My Role: Solo Developer
I made the entirety of this game by myself, with the exception of the textured polygon routine used to draw the house and furniture
(which is by Frederic Souchu, & used with permission).
My achievements on this project included:
- Implementing a custom isometric 3D rendering system with camera rotation.
- Designing thematic mechanics and enviroments taking advantage of the rotation.
- Drawing all sprite and texture assets using PICO-8's editor.
- Building and texturing simple 3D models: variable trees, a cabin, and assorted furniture.
- Creating all audio assets using PICO-8's editor.
- Implementing a simple cutscene and dialogue system.
- Revising difficulty based on player feedback by adding a checkpoint.

This was made for the PICO-8 Advent Calendar 2020.
The gap in development was due to setting the project aside to manage my college workload.
