I made the entirety of this game by myself within 48 hours.
My achievements on this project included:
- Implementing a top-down platformer about dodging your cursed animate weapon to trick it into attacking and avoiding hazards.
- Designing eight levels around the core mechanic, including a boss fight.
- Drawing all sprite and texture assets using PICO-8's editor.
- Creating all audio assets using PICO-8's editor, including music.

This game was made in under 48 hours from June 11, 2021 to June 13, 2021 for the Game Maker's Toolkit Jam 2021.
The jam theme was "joined together," so taking inspiration from the trope of cursed weapons being impossible to
unequip I made a game about trying to dodge a hostile weapon that's tethered to you while tricking it into
cooperating so that you can progress.
Please note that the game is very difficult in its current state, and I plan to refine it further
